solidred.Then,connecttheLiPoflightbatterytothecontrolunitandinstalliton
theairplane.
NOTE:Ifthiswillbethefirstflight,orthefirstflightfollowingrepairs,you
shouldcentertheelevatorandrudder(aileron)controltrims.Usethedigital
trimbuttonstodeterminethe‘center’trimpositionbyusingtheaudible
beeps/tonesforreference.
Aftertheflightbatteryisconnectedtothecontrolunittheelevatorandrudder
shouldmovebackandforthbrieflytoindicatethecontrolunithasinitialized
properly.
NOTE:Ifyouhearahumming/buzzingsoundcomingfromthemagnetic
actuatorfortherudder(orlackthereof)afterinitializationiscompletethisis
normaldependingonthecurrenttrim/neutralpositionfortherudder.Also,the
rudderwilltypicallyonlymovebackandforthbrieflywhentherudderand
verticalfinareinaverticalorientation(relativetotheground).
Ifyouhadthelefthand/throttlesticksettothelowestpossiblepositionduring
theinitializationprocess(orifnot,lowerthesticktothelowestpossibleposition
now),theESC/motorwillnowbearmed.
Usecautionasthepropellerwillnow
spinwhenthelefthand/throttlestickisraisedbeyondthelowestpossible
position!
