thatallowthebatterytobepositionedsoit’sclosertoorfurtherawayfromthefront/nose
oftheairplane.Installingthebatterysoit’sfurtherawayfromthenoseoftheairplane(as
shown)willresultinaless‘noseheavy’CenterofGravity(CG)thatallowsthemodeltofly
abitmoreslowlyandwithamore‘nosehigh’attitudeincruiseflight.Thisisparticularly
desirablewhenflyinginsmallerindoorareas.
Installingthebatterysoit’sclosertothenoseoftheairplane(notshown)resultsina
morenoseheavyCGforslightlyfastercruiseflightinlargerindoorandoutdoorareas.
ToremovetheLiPoflightbatteryliftitawayfromthemagnetthendisconnectitfrom
the3in1controlunit.DONOTpoweroffthetransmitteruntiltheLiPoflightbatteryis
removedfromtheairplaneandthe3in1controlunitispoweredoff.
REMEMBER:The
transmitterisalwaysonfirstandalwaysofflast!
TheTigerMoth75isequippedwithacompactandadvanced3in1controlunit.Thecontrol
unitisalightweightcombinationofa2.4GHzreceiver,electronicspeedcontrol(ESC)and
servo.
Thischecklistincludesthestepsyoumustfollowtoensureproperinitialization,armingand
operationofthecontrolunit:
Beforeeachflightyoushouldalwaysturnthetransmitteronbeforeconnectingthe
flightbatterytothecontrolunit.Neverconnecttheflightbatterytothecontrolunit
beforepoweringthetransmitteronfirst.Aftereachflightyoushouldalways
disconnecttheflightbatteryfromthecontrolunitbeforepoweringoffthe
transmitter.
Thelefthand/throttlestickmustbesetinthelowestpossiblepositioninorder
fortheESCofthecontrolunittoarm.
