PROGRAMMING OF THE ANALOG INPUTS :
The programming of the voltage or current analog input (4-20mA , 0-20mA , 0-10v) , only concerns the capture
of the display scale (see p.21 and 22).
•
ANALOG OUTPUT OPERATING MODE (CURRENT):
To set up a current output, you have to define :
- the output type : 4-20mA , 0-20mA , -20+20mA , -5+5mA , -10+10mA , 0 5mA , 0 10mA
- the measured parameter number corresponding to the output (see the parameters list p.13)
- the bottom and the end scale for the measured parameter,
- the security type (high or low) for the saturation in alarm case (to 0 or in full scale +10%).
Note :
When you connect the instrument auxiliary supply, the outputs give -23mA during few seconds.
Example :
Output : 4-20mA for Vr : 50kV to 500kV.
20mA
4mA
50kV
500kV
Example :
Output : -20+20mA for Q : -10kW to +10kW.
+20mA
-10kW
+10kW
-20mA
Particular case of the power factor ( COS
ϕ
) :
The power factor can be transmitted on a current output by 3 different ways :
(see configuration p.19)
mathematical COS : The COS sign will indicate the current sense (receiver or generator)
Example :
the load can be a receiver or a generator of current, and we transmit by an output
4-20mA a COS between -0,5 and +0,5
20mA
12mA
generator
receiver
COS=0
4mA -0,5
+0,5 20mA
4mA
-0,5
0
+0,5
