GENERAL
AM TEHO 5, swivelling centre-mounted scraper for trucks is completely
hydraulically operated.
The functions of the centre-mounted scraper are controlled by
operating switches in the driver’s cab.
AM TEHO 5 is suitable for use together with AM TEHO SHJ 2 side-
mounted plough and AM TEHO snow ploughs.
Use of the centre-mounted scraper together with other equipment
shortens road maintenance time and improves the quality of the road
maintenance.
The centre-mounted scraper can be used both in summer and winter.
In the summer:
•
Shaping the surface of the road and building sites.
•
Spreading gravel and other materials
•
Roughing gravel roads
•
Patching oil gravel
•
Repairing ground frost and other road damage
In the winter:
•
Removing snow, slush and packed snow and ice off gravel and
paved surfaces
AM TEHO 5 centre-mounted scraper should only be used when driving
forwards. When reversing, the centre-mounted scraper MUST NOT BE
USED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. When reversing, the blade
MUST ALWAYS BE RAISED TO THE TRANSPORT POSITION.
NO EXTRA EQUIPMENT MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE
HYDRAULICALLY MOVING PARTS!
MUST NOT BE USED AS A JACK!
