balances accordingly. Press SETUP again when you are finished to exit the Setup menu,

Party
The Party mode sends the signal from the Left Front channel to the Left Surround
channel, and the signal from the Right Front channel is sent to the Right Surround
channel. A mix is sent to the center channel. There is no rear channel delay in this
mode. This mode is ideal for situations where you want to fill the room with music, and
people are not located in an ideal position in the room. Separate level settings are
available in the Party mode. You can access the channel balances by pressing the SETUP
button on the remote. After making any adjustments, pressing the SETUP but again will
exit the Setup Menu, and save the new settings
Hall
The Hall mode sends a L+R signal to the center channel, as well as to each surround
channel. The surround channel signal runs through a reverb algorithm to simulate a
large hall. Front/Rear balance is critical in this mode, as the proper setting will depend on
the source material. The Front/Rear balance setting is a temporary setting, and will be
reset to the center position whenever the mode is loaded. Separate channel balance
settings are available in the Hall mode. You can access the channel balances by pressing
the SETUP button on the remote. After making any adjustments, pressing the SETUP
but again will exit the Setup Menu, and save the new settings
