Remote Control
The standard remote control for the Soundstage is a preprogrammed/learner universal
remote. To activate the remote for the Soundstage, press the AUD button at the top
left-hand corner of the remote. The LCD screen on the remote should read AUDIO. This
is the "Page" that controls the Soundstage.
Speaker Selection Grid
The center portion of the remote control is set up to allow easy control of the speakers of
your home theater, laid out like an aerial view of the system. The FF (LVL UP) and REW
(LVL DN) buttons allow adjustment of the current menu selection. While in a menu such
as the Setup Menu, or the Bass Management Setup, pressing one of the speaker buttons
will allow you to adjust the parameter for that particular speaker. For On The Fly
adjustments, pressing the Center or Subwoofer button allows you to make temporary
adjustments to those channels. While in a surround mode, pressing either of the rear
channel buttons when no setup menu is selected will allow you to adjust front rear
balance. This is also a temporary adjustment. Temporary adjustments are reset
whenever a new mode is loaded.
