Using Manner Mode
Mute ringtones and other handset sounds to avoid disturbing
others around you.
Manner Mode Options
Settable items are the following.
Mode Description
Standard
Ringtones and other handset sounds are
muted; handset vibrates for incoming
calls/messages, etc. Sound for music
and videos plays back. Answer Phone is
enabled when

Drive
Ringtones and other handset sounds are
muted; handset does not vibrate for
incoming calls/messages, etc. Answer

setting operates according to Drive .
Silent
Ringtones and other handset sounds are
muted; handset does not vibrate for
incoming calls/messages, etc. Answer
Phone is enabled when

setting is Mannermode
Manner Mode Cautions
Behavior during Manner mode is the following.
・Camera shutter sound, video recording tones, etc. still
play even in Manner mode.
・Mute alarm from alarm settings.
・Ringtones do not sound from earphones while in Manner
mode.
Activating Manner Mode
(Long Press)
Manner mode activates.
・When handset is closed, Long Press
(Side Key).
・Standard Manner mode is set by default.
