Setting the switching times timer
Caution
It is generally not necessary to set the switching time because the thermal heat pump is normally controlled
by the
fi lter pump running time and the integrated fl ow switch.
Setting the on timer
Press the “Timer ON” key to activate the timer menu. The hours display fl ashes when you press the key
again and you can set the hour by pressing the two arrow keys. Press the “Timer ON” key again to activate
the minutes display. These can also be set by using the two arrow keys. Press the “Timer ON” key once
again to save the setting. The LED lights.
Setting the off timer
Press the “Timer OFF” key to activate the timer menu. The hours display fl ashes when you press the key
again and you can set the hour by pressing the two arrow keys. Press the “Timer OFF” key again to activa-
te the minutes display. These can also be set by using the two arrow keys. Press the “Timer OFF” key once
again to save the setting. The LED lights.
Clearing the timer
To clear a set time (e.g. Timer On), press the “Timer ON” key. The saved timer time starts fl ashing. The
timer is cleared by pressing the “Stand-By” key.
Both timers (On and Off) must always be cleared. Otherwise the system could malfunction. Both
timer LEDs must be off.

Safety and inspection system
Temperature check by
• a temperature sensor of the evaporator which starts thawing.
• a temperature sensor positioned on the titanium heat exchanger. This ensures that the thermal heat
pump stops when the water temperature has reached the required level. The normal cycle starts again
when the temperature in the exchanger drops 2 °C below the required temperature.
Safety systems by
• a fl ow switch at the exchanger input.
• a high-pressure safety switch.
• a low-pressure safety switch.
Caution
When an error occurs, one of the above safety systems generates an error message in the display. The
error codes are explained in a table in the section “Possible defects, causes and remedies”.
Caution
Removal or deactivation of one of the inspection or safety systems will lead to voiding of the warranty.
