AQUASURE FORTITUDE PRO SERIES
Process Description Recommended Time
FILTER
This is the standard setting when your water
treatment system is in use.
Water will flow in from the source and out to
your home plumbing.
Ongoing
BACKWASH
The Backwash setting is used to remove
impurities from the system and expands the
media.
Water will flow out of the valve port that
should be sent to the drain.
Recommend every 7-10
days or as needed.
Run water for 15 minutes.
Then perform a Fast Rinse
cycle.
More time may be needed
if desired result is not
achieved.
FAST RINSE
Fast Rinse setting is used immediately after
the Backwash cycle. The Fast Rinse process
forces the media to settle back down into the
tank.
Water will flow out of the valve port that
should be sent to the drain.
Perform immediately after
the Backwash cycle.
Run water for 5 minutes.
