WINTERIZING
OPTION 1:
If you are going to continually run water through your unit and it will be exposed to freezing
temperatures be sure to install winterizing caps (sold separately) on both sides of the unit and take all the
internal parts inside (Quartz Sleeve, EZ-Twist Top, Quartz Caps, Lamps, Rubber Seals, and or Bushings).
Transformer Box may be left outside.

CAUTION:
Always turn off the pump and disconnect electricity from the unit prior to any
maintenance.

OPTION 2:
If you shut down your system for winter (no water flowing) remove the lamp and store separately.
Disconnect unions or flanges and take the Viper UV Sterilizer inside.
