Before connecting farbwerk devices to an aquaero 5/6 controller, each farbwerk
device has to be configured to an individual aquabus address. You may skip this
step if only one farbwerk device is connected. Addresses 20 and 21 are available
for farbwerk devices.
Beginning with firmware version 1004 included in aquasuite version 2017-3, data
received by aquabus from an aquaero 5/6 is always processed with higher priority
than the configuration stored in the farbwerk itself. Manual configuration of data
prioritization is no longer necessary in this case.

For initializing a Bluetooth connection, a pairing key is required. The factory preset
of “1234” can be changed to another four-digit pairing key.
Please note: After changing the pairing key, you will have to power down the farb-
werk device for changes to take effect.
