Error Messages
Why are there Errors?
Setup mistakes happen. Overloads occur. Systems under test fail. When the APS-
1000 unit encounters a fault condition, an error has occurred. The result is:
The front panel display presents a message.
The output turns OFF.
An alarm sounds.
The “OUTPUT/RESET” LED flashes.
CAUTION
Any error message signifies a fault was detected in the system or in the operating
environment. Please carefully record the error message. The error MUST be resolved
before resuming operation. If you are unable to resolve the error, please contact APS
or the distributor for service. Contact information is found on page "

of this manual.
Clearing an Error
Press RESET (once) to disable the alarm.
Make a note of the error message.
Re-read the CAUTION (above)

Error Message Table
.
Refer also to the more detailed explanation of error messages in the Error Message
Section.
Press RESET (again) to clear the error message and return to Standby status.
