NOTES FOR USERS AND MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS
At regular intervals, check the unit to ensure the operator is working correctly. Do this at least every 12 months.
7.1 MAINTENANCE
Information
Maintenance must be performed by qualifi ed personnel or an authorised assistance centre.

Before carrying out any maintenance, disconnect the automation from the mains power supply using the system
electrical differential switch.
The following routine checks should be performed in accordance with that stated in the maintenance booklet supplied
by the installer.
• Check the general state of the structure, easy sliding of the door and the condition of the guides.
• Check that the electrical system and the differential switch are operating correctly.
• Check that the stop button is connected correctly to the NC contact and check functioning.
• Check monthly that safety devices installed are functioning correctly (photocells, limit switches, etc.).
• Monthly check door balancing manually after releasing the operator.
• Annually check sliding of chains and lubricate the chains and all other moving parts.
• Annually check and if necessary tighten bolts used to secure the unit and supports.
Information
In the event of damage or faults refer to the manufacturer for the repairs required.
7.2 DISMANTLING
Dismantle the equipment by performing assembly operations in reverse order.

All batteries must be removed and disposed of in accordance with current legislation. Do not fl y tip batteries and
do not dispose of them as part of general waste collection.
The electrolyte contained in batteries is an irritant for the eyes and skin. In the event of contact wash immediately
with running water and seek medial advice.
7.3
EMERGENCY MOVEMENT: MANUAL RELEASE
Notes for users and maintenance technicians
In the event of a fault or mains power failure the operator
must be released so the door can be moved manually.
• Pull the release cable (
Fig.30-ref.1
) to release the door from
the operator.
• To reconnect the operator close the door and transmit
a
START
command to move the chain until the lock is
engaged.
If you want to perform the release operation using a key
you must install the special OPTIONAL KIT.
