Before changing a bulb, set the ignition

switch to position “

” and allow a few

minutes for the bulb to cool down.

Wear clean gloves or use a clean, dry

cloth to handle the new bulb.
Do not put your fingerprints on the

bulb, as this may lead to overheating

and failure.

If you have handled the bulb with bare

hands, clean it with alcohol to avoid any

damage.
DO NOT PULL ON THE WIRES.

CAUTION

Before changing a

bulb, check the fuses, see page 47

CHANGING THE FRONT TURN IN-
DICATOR BULBS

Carefully read on the side (LAMPS).
To change the bulbs:

CAUTION

The following infor-

mation applies to all turn indicators.

Unscrew and remove the screw (1).

CAUTION

Proceed with care.

Do not damage the tabs and/or their

seats.

◆

Remove the shield (2).

◆

Press the bulb (3) slightly and rotate it
anticlockwise.

CAUTION

If the bulb holder (4)

comes off its seat, refit it correctly.

◆

Extract the bulb from its seat.

CAUTION

Insert the bulb into

the bulb holder, so that the two pins slide
into the slots in the holder.

◆

Fit a new bulb of equal rating.

Upon reassembly:

CAUTION

Make sure that the

lens (2) locates correctly into its seat on re-
fitting.

CAUTION

Tighten the screw (1) gradually. Do not

overtighten or the shield (2) will

damage.
