F4 Beacon Configuration
The PAM Portable controls and configures the 1000 series Beacons using the Beacon serial port
connection.
Ensure the beacon is switch is the ON position and the battery pack is charged.
Press F1 to read the beacon’s configuration. The fields are then updated:
Using the cursor keys the Mode and Channel of the beacon can be selected and confirmed by
pressing return.
To set the beacon press F2 to send the configuration to the beacon.
Depth functionality selection is only available where a pressure sensor is fitted to the beacon.
