Digital Out:
Use your remote’s keys to selct the
menu options, press ENTER to activate and confirm
the desired options.
Select
Raw
for equipment that has a Dolby
Digital/DTS processor built in. The player will
"stream" these and other digital audio formats via
this mode. Selecting
PCM
optimizes the output for
playing CD Audio or MP3/WMA tracks.
TV Shape:
Use your remote’s keys to selct the
menu options, press ENTER to activate and confirm
the desired options.
Depending on your TV Screen Size, you can select
your preference for optimal viewing of conventional
(4:3) pan & Scan. (4:3) Letterbox movies or (16:9).
Description of modes:
Normal/Ps: Select this mode for a conventional size
TV set. Video material formatted in the pan & scan
style is played. Portions of the program material
maybe cut off on the left and right edges.
Normal/Lb: Select this mode for a conventional size
TV set. Black bands appear at top and bottom of
screen (letter-box style). But allow for the true
aspect ratio of the widescreen programming. Video
material not formatted in the pan & scan style is
played in the letter-box style.
Wide 16:9:
Select 16:9 for a wide-screen TV set.
Setting the wide-screen TV to "FULL" mode is also
necessary for the picture to fill the entire screen.
