Rotate the plug inside the closure until the ears on the plug match up to the holes on the 

nut, as shown below in Figure 13.

2.5.7. 

Attach chain hoist to eyebolt and carefully raise plug out of the nut (see Figure 14). 

Caution: Only use hoist to lift the plug, not the entire vessel.

 

2.5.7.1.  Use caution when raising or lowering plug as to not damage cup seal. Note: 

Keep the plug horizontal, move it slowly, and do not force it to seal.
