6.2.2 CHARGING THE POWER PACK WITH THE MOTOR VEHICLE CHARGING CABLE
Make sure that the Power Pack is switched off. All control lights and the work light must not be illuminated. Switch off the com-
pressor. Plug the coaxial connector of the motor vehicle charging cable (Position 19 in the overview) into the charging socket of the
Power Pack (Position 9 in the overview). Now plug the motor vehicle charging cable into the 12 V on-board socket in your car. The
charge status display (Position 7 in the overview) is activated, and flashes. If all three lights on the charge status display are always
lit, then the Power Pack battery is fully charged. After charging, first disconnect the motor vehicle charging cable from the on-board
socket, then disconnect the coaxial connector from the charging socket of the Power Pack.
6.2 CHARGING THE POWER PACK
Fully charge up the Power Pack after purchase with the plug charger before initial use (Section 6.2.1)
CAUTION
Only charge the Power Pack when driving or when the motor is running, otherwise there is a risk that the
starter battery of your vehicle may be discharged.
Make sure that the Power Pack is switched off. All control lights and the work light must not be illuminated. Switch off the
compressor. Plug the coaxial connector of the plug charger (Position 18 in the overview) into the charging socket of the Power
Pack (Position 9 in the overview). Now, connect the plug charger with the mains socket. The charge status display (Position 7 in
the overview) is activated, and flashes. If all three lights on the charge status display are always lit, then the Power Pack battery is
fully charged. After charging, first disconnect the plug charger from the mains socket, then disconnect the coaxial connector from
the charging socket of the Power Pack.

6.3 STARTING AID
For instructions on carrying out a jump start, read the manual of your vehicle or ask your specialist
workshop.
Disconnect all of the devices connected to the Power Pack from the 12 V outlet socket (Position 6 in the overview) and from the
USB port (Position 11 in the overview).
Make sure that the Power Pack is fully charged. To do this, press the ON/OFF switch (Position 8 in the overview). If all three lights are
illuminated on the charge status display (Position 7 in the overview) then the Power Pack is ready to use.
