6-3 MEMORY READ
Once frequency and mode data have been stored into a memory location, retrieval is quick and simple.
Let’s assume that you are going to retrieve the frequency of 123.500 MHz which has been programmed
into memory “0325” during an earlier example in the preceding section of this manual.
1. In VFO mode, press the [
SCAN
] key to go into memory read mode.
2. Rotate the sub dial to select the memory bank “03” displayed on the right bottom of the LCD.
3. Rotate the main dial to select the memory channel “25” displayed on the right bottom of the LCD.
4. The memory frequency of 123.500 MHz will be displayed on the LCD.
5. If you already know the memory bank and memory channel, simply press the [
0
],[
3
],[
2
],[
5
] key.
6. The AR6000 will monitor whatever memory channel you enter into memory read.
7. To return to VFO mode, press the [
VFO
] key.
6-4 DELETE MEMORY CHANNEL
To delete the contents of a single memory channel, perform the following steps.
1. In memory read mode, press the [
FUNC
] key, and then press the [
.
(decimal)] key.
2. The memory delete menu will appear and blink.
3. If you wish to delete this memory channel contents, press the [
MHz
] key.
4. To cancel, press the [
CLR
] key.
6-5 DELETE ALL MEMORY CHANNELS IN THE MEMORY BANK
To delete the contents of an entire memory channel in the memory bank, perform the following steps:
1. In memory read mode, press the [
FUNC
] key, and then press and hold the [
.
(decimal)] key for
two seconds.
2. The following delete menu will appear with “DEL MEM-CH” in reverse contrast.
3. Rotate the sub dial to select the memory bank to delete.
4. When the selected bank has registered memory channels, “
**
” will be displayed on the bottom right
corner of the LCD. If the selected memory bank has no registered channel, “- -“ will appear.
5. To delete, press the [
PASS
] key. To cancel, press the [
CLR
] key.
6. Press the [
MHz
] key to exit from this menu.
