Condition Explanation / Solution
Connection issues
If the TV fails to detect the HDMI
device and no picture is displayed
Switch the source from one device to another and back again.
Certain programs on DVD or
other digital sources display a
loss of detail, especially during
fast-motion or dark scenes
This is due to the digital compression of the source content used by certain digital broadcasts and
DVDs which may cause your TV’s screen to display less detail than usual, or cause artifacts (small
blocks or dots, pixilation) to appear on your screen. These signal compressions are more visible and are
dependent on the clarity and resolution of the television.
Remote control does not operate
Check the polarity of the batteries or replace the batteries.
Point the remote control at the remote control sensor located at the front of the TV.
Fluorescent lamps can interfere with your remote control operation; try turning off the fluorescent lamps.
Keep the remote control sensor area clear from obstacles.
USB device content is not
displayed
Make sure that the USB storage device is compatible with the TV, and that the audio and picture file
formats are supported by the TV.
Network issues
Internet access via Smart TV is
slow
Improve the signal quality between the router and TV (for wireless connection). Use a fast broadband.
Update your TV with the latest software to ensure good browsing speed.
Wireless network is not found
Make sure that the wireless network is not disturbed by microwave ovens or other neighboring Wi-Fi
devices. Make sure that the firewalls in your network allow access to the TV wireless connection.
