Recordings
User can record TV programs onto a USB hard drive when this TV receives program guides. User can record both current broadcasting
programs and future programs.
What you need
USB 2.0 compatible hard drive
Basic requirements
USB hard drive with minimum capacity of 32GB and minimum trasfer speed of 30
megabits per sec
Recommended
USB hard drive with 250GB disk space will provide better performance. User can use
the same USB hard drive to record and pause TV programs.
Set up before start
First change this TV to receive digital TV channels such as DVB broadcasts:
Setup > Search for channels > Reinstall Channels
.
Connect your USB 2.0 compatible hard drive to the corresponding port(
USB 1 port
) on TV, and format it(to format, press
Pause
key on your TV
remote control, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete this action). If the TV fails to detect your USB hard drive, disconnect it from the
TV and use PC to format it to NTFS or FAT32 system, then try again.
Note:
Please do not connect other USB drives to TV and do not turn off TV or disconnect USB hard drive before formatting process is complete.
Note:
Formatting will erase all data from the connected USB hard drive. The USB hard drive is formatted only for this TV; user must keep it
permanently connected to the TV; its contained contents will not be accessible when connected to another TV or PC. Please do not overload
your USB port and if the USB hard drive consumes more than 500mA power, make sure that it draws power from its own external power supply.
Ready to record
For recording current broadcasting program
To start recording, press
Record
key on your TV remote control.
A dialogue box will appear on TV when recording starts, showing the end time of the program. The navigation ring on your TV remote control can
be used to label the end time of the recording. Press
Stop
key on TV remote control to stop recording.
Note:
User cannot switch TV channels or pause a TV program during recording.
Schedule a recording-
Press
Home
key on your TV remote control. Select
TV guide
, pick the desired channel and program then confirm your selection by pressing
OK
. To record a program that will be broadcast in future, user need to press
OPTIONS
, then select
Select day
to select the day on which the
program will be broadcast. Press
Record
key, a dialogue box will show. User can select and change recording details with the numeric buttons
and navigation ring on TV remote control, then select
Confirm
, press
OK
.
If user intend to cancel a recording, press
Home
key then select
Recordings
, confirm the selection by pressing
OK
. A list of recordings will pop
up, use the navigation ring on TV remote control to browse through the list, then select the recording that you wish to delete, confirm selection by
pressing
OK
.
If user intend to make adjustment to a scheduled recording, press
Home
key then select
Recordings
, confirm the selection by pressing
OK
. A
list of recordings will pop up, use the navigation ring on TV remote control to browse through the list, select the recording that you wish to make
adjustment to, then select
Adjust time
. Change the recording time as needed, then select
Confirm
, press
OK
.
Note:
If you are going to be away during schedule recording, please remember to leave your TV in standby.
