7.2.3. Engine
To drain the engine oil, unscrew the oil cap when you put the cap back on, make sure the seal
is seated correctly.
7.2.4. Drums
The battery must be carefully maintained to ensure a long service life. The battery of the
machine must always be charged:
- Before using the machine for the first time after purchase.
- Before leaving the machine unused for a long period of time.
- Before starting the machine after a long period of inactivity.
Carefully read and follow the instructions for recharging the battery. Failure to follow
instructions or charge the battery may permanently damage the battery cells.
A discharged battery must be recharged as soon as possible. Recharging must be done using
a constant voltage battery charger. Other recharging systems can irreversibly damage the
battery.
7.3. Checks and adjustments
7.3.1. Mower Deck Alignment
The mower deck must be properly adjusted to get a good cut.
For good cutting results, the front should always be 5-6mm lower than the back.
- Put the machine on a flat surface and check the tire pressure.
- Place 30mm blocks under the front edge of the deck and 35mm blocks under the rear
edge, then set the lift lever to position “2”.
- Adjusting the left front adjuster rod, right adjuster rod, and right rear adjuster rod keep
the deck in contact with the blocks.
- Adjust lift rod to keep deck in contact with blocks.
