9.10 P13 – (Stir) Strawberry Compote
500g fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
60g caster sugar
30g lemon juice
Note
: substitute any berries you like, however, check the sweetness at the end and adjust
the amount of sugar as necessary.
1. Attached Butterfly Whisk
2. Place all ingredients in the jar then select STIR (program P13)
3. If not already set, adjust the settings to the following:
Temperature: 100°C
Speed: 1
Time: 10 Minutes
4. Start Program
5. When finished, store the Compote in the fridge.
9.11 P16 – Rice
300g rice
900 – 1000ml water
1. Attach Chopping Blade and place small Steamer Basket inside the cooking jar.
2. Place all ingredients into basket and select RICE (program 16) and start.
9.12 P17 – (Porridge) Apple and Cinnamon
1cup porridge oats
1cup Milk of choice
1 granny smith apple, small diced
2tsp cinnamon
1tsp vanilla paste
1tsp honey
1. Attach Chopping Blade
2. Place all ingredients in the jar then select PORRIDGE (program 17),
3. Set Speed to 1
4. Start Program
5. Add extra milk if desired before serving
