Chilli Jam
Preparation: 20 minutes
4 red peppers, chopped
7 red chillies, chopped
3cm fresh root ginger, peeled and chopped
6 cloves of garlic
300g canned cherry tomatoes
550g sugar
200ml red wine vinegar

Chop peppers, chillies, ginger and garlic finely. Scrape into the soup maker
jug.

Put canned cherry tomatoes, sugar and red wine vinegar into the jug. Lock
the lid in place.

Turn the soup maker on. You will hear a beep.

Select Smooth soup. The beep will signal it has started and the light will
flash on and off.

The chutney will cook for 30 minutes. A beep will signal the soup maker has
finished.
6.
Allow the chutney to cool slightly. Pour into sterilised jars and cool
completely. Store in a cool dark place. Once opened keep in the refrigerator
and consume within 4 weeks.
