Error messages
Error messages can arise at the following points in time:
1. Right before calibration
2. During calibration
3. Straight after the calibration procedure
4. During measurement
5. When printing or saving to a chip card
6. During soot measurement
Described below are all the possible error messages and how to remedy the problems.
9.1
Error messages before calibration
Error:
Temperature 0 [°C]
Cause: the measuring probe or gas temperature sensor are not
connected.
Solution: check all hose connections, otherwise it will be impossible to
calibrate the device.
If this display appears even though the probe is connected, the device must be checked over by anapol.
Error:
Remove probe from
exhaust pipe
E: Repeat
Cause: the measuring probe is already located in the exhaust pipe
before calibration has taken place, it has been subjected to too high a
temperature or is faulty.
Solution: remove the probe from the exhaust pipe and place it close to
the burner air intake.
Check the cable and plug.
Calibration will be restarted if the temperature falls below 50°C.
9.2
Error message during calibration
Error:
Pump capacity
Cause: less than 50% of the nominal suction volume is being achieved.
The probe or hose may be blocked.
Solution: check for possible causes. If you cannot find any faults,
switch the device off and start again.
9.3
Error message right after calibration
Error:
O2 sensor
Cause: this display followed by the sensor type (O2, CO,
NO) indicates that the relevant sensor is not yet ready for
operation.
Solution: turn the device off and back on again. Check the
sensor values given in Menu 3.
The following values must be displayed: O
2
CO
> 0.37 or O
2
< 0.48 mA
<= 40 ppm
