Baseband Noise Measurement

This function measures the noise voltage of a source.

The following section describes the basic measurement method of the baseband noise at a

given frequency by using the APPH6000’s GUI baseband noise measurement window.

Follow the steps below to measure the voltage noise in the baseband noise measurement tab

of the GUI.

A)

Select frequency offset range to measure. Select start and stop frequency.

B)

Choose the desired number of averages

C)

Enable internal supply voltages and set output voltage, if your DUT shall be powered by

the internal low noise DC supply. Note the maximum current is restricted to 150 mA.

D)

Press “Start” button
