3.3.1 Boot Mode Select Switch (SW1)
The rotary switch (SW1) determines the boot mode of the processor. By default, the ADSP-SC589
processor boots from the SPI flash memory.

3.3.2 Reset Push Button (SW2)
The reset push button (SW2) resets the following ICs: processor (U1), GPIO extender (U47), GPIO
extender (U48), and Ethernet PHY (U51). Also, the reset push button is connected to the expansion
interface through the SYS_HWRST signal.
3.3.3 GPIO Push Buttons (SW3–4)
The GPIO push buttons (SW3 and SW4) are connected to the processor's signals PF_01/TM0_TMR7
/SPI1_SEL7b and PF_00/TM0_TMR6/SPI1_SEL6b respectively. The signals are connected by
default.
