•
Begin with the blade of the machine at the desired start leading towards the outlet
•
Go into
Settings
and then
General Settings
and change the
Blade Height Offset
to
measured value
o
The measured value is the height off the ground the blade will be when you start
collecting data before moving and while moving
•
Make sure
Suppress Blade Offset on First Point
is unchecked
•
Raise the blade to the height specified in
Blade Height Offset
above ground
•
Go back to the main screen and select
Capture Path
and drive towards the ditch
o
Driving
towards the ditch typically means you are driving downhill however it’s
important to be consistent
o
Make sure most of the path you are taking is either uphill or downhill and not a
half and half mixture of both
•
When you get to the last point before the outlet select
Capture Path
to turn it off
(pause) then turn the machine around and place the blade on the surface level in the
ditch you are draining to
•
Select
Capture Path
again and you will be prompted with “Connect and Finish Path”
•
Select it and get the point, and then turn
Capture Path
off again and you can now create
the ditch using machine control
