Resume Grade Checking
a.
Choose Project and then Save from the Options menu (

Choose a file name and folder for your job and press OK.

Close the app by selecting Exit from the Options menu (

Restart the app.

Press the Connect button in the left margin.

Choose your GPS device.

Choose Project and then Open from the Options menu (

Select the name of the job file you created and press OK.

Machine Control
Machine control is used after a design is made from WaterCourse Site Design or an outside
software. Use machine control to provide cuts and fills to the land until you get to the desired
grade.
4.1
When To Use Machine Control
Only select machine control when you are ready to start grading.
Wait to use machine control after you have:
a.
Created or locked to control points
b.
Collected a topo map
c.
Verified the accuracy of your data
d.
Imported the data into designing software
e.
Conducted water management
f.
Imported surface design and topos from designing software into DIRT
g.
Reconnected to the GPS receivers and control points
