THIS DEVICE MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE
FOLLOWING SERVERS VIA TCP/IP PORTS 80 AND 443:
WWW.AMTC.COM, EOS1.EOSMUSIC.COM, EOS2.EOSMUSIC.COM
(71.40.184.178 THROUGH 71.40.184.190).
THE WORDS “MUSIC”, “MESSAGES”, AND FILES WITH THE .MP3
AND .TXT FILE EXTENSIONS MUST NOT BE BLOCKED.
IF THIS DEVICE IS CONNECTED TO A ROUTER AND/OR FIREWALL,
THEY MUST BE CONFIGURED AS ABOVE. ROUTER/FIREWALL
CONFIGURATION PROCEDURES VARY BY MANUFACTURER AND
MODEL, AND REQUIRE I.T. EXPERTISE. AMTC CANNOT ASSIST
YOU WITH ROUTER/FIREWALL CONFIGURATION.
The RemoteLink IP is PCI-compliant.
Files cannot be loaded directly into the Remotelink IP. Files are obtained
solely from the servers listed above.
The device’s MAC address is:
00:1F:EA[six-digit serial number on device]
When connected, the RemoteLink by default uses Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol (DHCP) to obtain an IP address and network
settings. Alternatively, you may manually assign a static IP address
using an AMTC utility available for download at no charge from the
support area of www.amtc.com. This utility must be run on a computer
on the same network segment as the RemoteLink IP.
