2.5.2 Removing the Paper Rack
Hold both sides of the paper rack, lift it up and then take it out.
2.6 Installing the Ribbon Cartridge
1. Make sure the printer is turned off.
2. Open the printer window.
3. Move the gap adjust lever to the highest position.
4. Move the print head to the middle of the printer.
Caution: Never remove the print head when printer is on, or else the printer may get damaged.
Besides, do not touch the print head if the printer has just been recently used as the
print head may be hot.
5. Pull out the paper guide and turn it upwards.
6. Take out the ribbon cartridge, hold the ribbon cartridge with the ribbon knob facing upwards. Turn
the ribbon knob in the direction of the arrow to remove any slack from the ribbon so it is easier to
install.
7. As Figure 2-9 shown, hold both sides of the ribbon cartridge, aim the buckles of the ribbon cartridge
at the mounting slots of the printer, then push it forwards until it lock in place.
