4. Connect the equipment as illustrated in the diagram.
Only use the telephone connection line supplied
because the equipment may not function if another
telephone connection line is used.

In order to connect the alarm clock to a telephone
connection for use as a signal amplifier, you may need
an appropriate adapter. You can obtain one at a
specialist shop.

Basic settings
In order to be able to use the TCL 200 digital alarm clock, you
must first carry out the following settings.
Setting the language
1. Press the Snooze button (1) briefly in order to check the
language currently set. The alarm clock announces the
current time and weekday.
2. In order to change the language, press the button (7) for 10
seconds. The language used by the alarm clock is changed
and then announces the time and weekday in the language
set.
The languages are available in the following sequence:
German − French − Italian − Spanish − English
Setting the weekday and time
1. Press the button (8) for 5 seconds. The alarm clock
announces the weekday currently set.
2. Press the button (6) or (7) as often as necessary until the
current weekday is set. The alarm clock then announces the
weekday currently set.
If the language is set to English, you can then select
the time format. Press the button (6) or (7) to select
between the 12 and 24−hour display. Press the button
(8) briefly after completing the selection. Ignore Step 3.
3. Press the button (8) briefly. The alarm clock then announces
the time currently set.
4. Press the button (6) or (7) as often as necessary until the
current hour is set. The alarm clock then announces the time
currently set.
5. Press the button (8) briefly. The alarm clock then announces
the minute currently set.
