Input voltage is 24V DC with recommended power supply rating of 1A. Use only regulated DC supply and observe polarity when connecting.
16. MESSAGE PLAYER (MR1301)
Ribbon connection cable is provided for expanding output zones. Please refer to “cascading the unit”.
PD series of paging mic can be connected through this dedicated port. For short distance connection to PD, the power supply shall be drawn
directly from the port. “See section ‘11’ connecting the units”

Connectivity to network switch.
Audio output is balanced line level signal. Each individual ouput can have its level preset at the front panel, including the bass and treble
control.
The external message playback signal shall be balanced line level, see also section ‘10’ “connecting the units”.
It is dedicated port for connecting EP1200A directly to matrix with the following pin configurations:-
Pin 1 - Data A
Pin 2 - Data B
Pin 3 - Relay Trigger Signal
Pin 4 - NC
Pin 5 - +24V Supply
Pin 6 - Audio -ve output
Pin 7 - Ground
Pin 8 - Audio +ve Output
It allows connection of external source of balanced line or mic inputs. Mic audio shall be using XLR connectors, while line level using stereo
phone jack.
Please connect EP1200A to this designated port and PD mic to ‘Remote Paging Mic’ port only. Wrong connection may cause damage to the
equipment.
