7.9  Updating the Ammasso 1100 Option ROM Image 

The Ammasso 1100 network adapter was factory flashed with an option ROM image.  If you 
are updating from a previous release, this image will need to be updated (see 

HOWTO_UPDATE.txt

 for more specifics on updating the software and hardware).  

Ammasso provides utilities which allow this image to be updated by the user.  The 

ccflash2

 utility can be used to update images on the Ammasso 1100 network adapter.  In 

order to update the option ROM image, the 

–pxe

 flag should be used.  The following is an 

example of updating the option ROM: 
 

ccflash2 -t pxe 0 ${AMSO1100}/verbatim/fw/amm_ccore.zrom
