Setting up the height
Note
When setting up the height, stripe- or
point-shaped reflections can occur for
samples with a reflecting surface. In
such a case, the actual laser point (1) is
hard to spot or may be confused with
the reflection (2).
It is helpful to attach a small adhesive
label to the sample when setting the
correct height, in case the sample is
highly reflective.

To carry out a measurement, follow the steps below:
1. Place the sample on the scissor
lift table and move it below the
measurement window.

2. Switch on the laser and the light with the respective buttons (“Laser” and
“Lamp”).
