not obtained in 1 hour

Saturated cell Shut off sample flow at the
source and allow cell to dry.
Keep 303B operating

Display reading erratic Shorted cell Replace the cell
(noisy)
Varying sample flow Replace the flow regulator
Intermittent short Replace the cell
Faulty power supply board Replace power supply board
Display reading low on Low gas flow rate Check and adjust flow rate
gas with a known moisture
content
Clogged filter or dirty Replace filter. Replace flow
sample flow valve regulator
Contaminated or dirty cell, Remove, flush and recoat cell
or partially inactive
phosphorous pentoxide
Display reading high High gas flow rate Check and adjust flow rate
on gas with a known
moisture content
Leak in sample system Do a leak test
