Password Checking Option
This option can enable password checking every time the system
boots or AMIBIOS Setup is run. The settings are
Setup
- a password
prompt appears when AMIBIOS Setup is run (The default) or
Always
(a password prompt appears every time the system is turned
on). See page 57 for more information.
Video ROM Shadow C000,32K
When enabled, this option copies the 32 KB of Video ROM at
C000h – C7FFh to RAM. The settings are
Enabled
(the default) or
Disabled.
C000 Shadow RAM Cacheable
The settings are
Enabled
or
Disabled.
If enabled, the 32 KB
shadowed video memory can also be cached in the 80486 internal
cache memory, which may result in bad video data because the
internal cache cannot be write-protected and may be corrupted by an
external program. Before enabling this option, you must be
reasonably certain that the applications running on this system will
not write to the C000:0 – 07FFFh area.
