INSTALLATION AND SERVICE GUIDE

AD DELTADOME OUTDOOR HOUSING

8000-2616-04, REV. B

PC Board Setup

!

WARNING! Turn power off.

Turn off power at the source before
beginning this procedure.

CAUTION:

 Hold environmental PC board by its

edges to protect it from static electricity. Do not
remove its dust cover.

CAUTION:

 Connectors on PC board can be easily

broken! Use a 2.5mm (0.1") slotted screwdriver.
Wider blade widths can damage connectors. DO
NOT over tighten connector screws.

Performing following steps (refer to Figure 10).

1.  Touch metal housing to discharge static

electricity.

2.  Set termination jumper on PC board.

 

If comm. lines continue to another dome, place
jumper JW1 across pins 1–2 for “unterminated”.
If comm. lines do not continue, place jumper
JW1 across pins 2–3 for “terminated”.

3.  Connect BNC connector to pig-tailed video

input of PC board.

 

Before you connect, slide tubing [c] over video
cable. After you connect, slide tubing com-
pletely over BNC connectors for a snug fit.

 

CAUTION:

 Tubing keeps metal BNC connector

from contacting metal housing where it can
short out and damage electronics.

4.  Connect data to connector P1 on PC board.

Note: 

Wire colors are for composite cable only.

Manchester data connections to P1.
