5.7.2 Piloting the Aquajet

DANGER
Risk of Injury
An improperly attached battery box may come loose and cause injury while
piloting.
► Before each journey, make sure that the battery box is firmly and
securely closed.
► In particular, check that the locks on the battery box are correctly
engaged

A safety distance that is too small can lead to collisions that can result in serious or
fatal injuries.
►
Depending on the speed at which the vehicle is travelling, it is possible you
will travel a further 3 to 4 metres before you come to a standstill. Therefore,
always maintain a sufficient safety distance from other persons, watercraft
and obstacles.
DANGER
Risk of Injury
If the Aquajet is released while driving, it can go up to 5 metres further and
dive down briefly. There is a risk of injury to persons in the path of the Aquajet.
► Always hold on to the handles with both hands while driving.
► Do not release the handles until the Aquajet has come to a complete
stop.
► Switch off the motor before releasing the handles.
CAUTION
Property Damage
The Aquajet can continue without a driver up to 5 metres as well as dive down for a short
time. There is a risk that the Aquajet will be damaged by collision with obstacles or by
ground contact at low water depth.
► Always hold on to the handles with both hands while driving.
► Do not release the handles until the Aquajet has come to a complete stop.
► Switch off the motor before releasing the handles.
