2.3.3 Safety Instructions for Diving to a Depth of more than 2 Metres
► The use of the Aquajet at a diving depth of more than 2 metres is only allowed for divers
with a valid diving licence or who are accompanied by a certified diving instructor.
► Diving with the Aquajet is only allowed when accompanied by or under constant
supervision of another person.
► For diving with the Aquajet, fully functional diving equipment must be worn. Care must be
taken to ensure that no hoses or other objects hanging freely in the water can get into the
propellers.
► Diving is only permitted when visibility is perfect and diving goggles are worn.
► Before every dive, the depth sensor must be checked for proper function. A non-
functioning sensor can cause serious or fatal injuries.
► If the set maximum diving depth is exceeded, the drive switches off automatically. It can
only be switched on again when the Aquajet is above the set maximum depth.
► A depth limit of 2 metres is set ex works. This can be changed using the owner PIN. After
each dive, the diving depth must be reset to a maximum depth of 2 m to avoid the risk of
injury to unauthorized persons.
► When diving with the Aquajet, the depth measurement is for information purposes only.
The depth sensor is not a calibrated measuring instrument and therefore must not be
used as the main display for e.g. decompression calculation.
► When diving, always pay attention to the operating time shown on the display. This
guarantees that you will ascend in time.
► The general guidelines of the diving association must be observed, for example, VDST-
Standards, Verband Deuscher Sporttaucher, "Safety standards for the practice of diving.
