4.5 Types of installation
Three design variants are available, depending on the installation type:

Installation type D
Stationary dry installation with cooling system
▪ Installation type K
Stationary wet installation with cooling system
▪ Installation type S
Stationary wet installation without cooling system
Pump sets of installation type S
are designed for continuously submerged operation. The motor is cooled by the
pumped fluid on the motor surface. Operation with the motor outside the fluid
handled is possible for short periods.
Pump sets of installation types D and K
are suitable for continuous operation with the motor outside the fluid. The motor is
cooled by the integrated cooling system.

Design The pump is designed with an axial fluid inlet and a radial outlet. The hydraulic
system sits on the extended motor shaft. The shaft runs in common bearings.
