Hints & Care
Freezer Light Bulb:
1. Unplug refrigerator
2. Wear gloves as protection against possible broken glass.
3. Unsnap light shield
(A)
as shown.
4. Unscrew and replace old bulb
(B)
with an appliance bulb of wattage as
indicated adjacent to bulb.
5. Replace light shield.
6. Plug the refrigerator back in.
Fresh Food Light Bulb:
1. Unplug refrigerator
2. Remove light bulb cover
(A)
by removing screw
(B)
at back center. Pull
cover down. Replace bulb
(C)
with an appliance bulb of wattage as
indicated adjacent to bulb.
3. Replace light bulb cover
(A)
(by placing cover over light bulb. Insert and
tighten screw

.
4. Plug the refrigerator back in

Replacing the Freezer or Fresh Food Light Bulbs

To avoid the risk of personal injury or property damage, observe the following:
Allow light bulb to cool.
To avoid cuts, wear gloves when replacing light bulb.
Vacation and Moving Tips
Short Vacations
Remove all perishable items from fresh food section.
Turn automatic ice maker off, even if you will be gone only a few days.
Long Vacations
Remove all food and ice if you will be gone one month or more.
Turn controls to 0 (zero) and disconnect power.
Turn off automatic ice maker and turn water supply valve to CLOSED position.
Clean interior thoroughly.
Leave both doors open to prevent odor and mold build up. Block doors open if necessary.
Moving
Remove all food and ice.
If using handcart, load from side.
Adjust rollers all the way up to protect them during sliding and moving.
Protect cabinet to avoid scratching surface.
