Configuring Basic Parameters

The

Basic Configuration

menu of the Monitor program includes all the

parameters necessary for the initial operation of BreezeACCESS SU-M-900.
In many installations, many of these parameters should not be changed
from their default values.

Configuration of parameters that affect the hopping frequencies and
hopping mechanism depends on the configuration of the relevant AUs.

NOTE:

YOU MUST PERFORM A SITE SURVEY AND SPECTRUM SWEEP PRIOR TO CONFIGURING
THE AU’S IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE AVAIABLE CLEAR CHANNELS.

The following list includes the basic parameters and their default values:

Parameter

Default Value

is enabled, configuring
these channels according to
site survey results will limit
the scan to these channels
only. If Scan Entire Band is
enabled (see below), then
this channel list will be
ignored.

If the roaming scan feature
is enabled, it is
recommended to configure
these channels according to
the deployment (see
Changes in HDM/Flexible
Hopping Definition
Parameters,
 on page 3-10).
