Messages associated with Bad
Synch or Timeout events
Bad Synch or Association/Authentication Timeout events trigger certain
Monitor messages (depending on the severity level configured for the Event
Log Policy), as follows:

If the Max Number of Bad Synch is reached, before resetting itself the
unit will report:
FTL: Periodic synchronization loss
♦
If the Max Number of Association/Authentication is reached, before
resetting itself the unit will report:
FTL: Periodic association timeouts
♦
For each Association/Authentication timeout, the unit will report a
WRN message:
EnterScanningReason: Authentication/Association Timeout
♦
The unit will report one of the following TRC messages each time it
enters in scanning after unsuccessful association:
EnterScanningReason (counter_of_bad_synchronization)- srSyncLoss
OR-
EnterScanningReason (counter_of_bad_synchronization)-
srAuthAssocError
OR-
EnterScanningReason (counter_of_assoc_auth_timeout)-
srAuthAssocTimeout
