ving the system efficiency

arying the system temper
ature depending on the room temperature and heat losses

In addition all Evok
e models feature optional connections f
or an outside sensor to enable the boilers b
uilt in weather
compensation feature
.
The boilers will provide centr
al heating when required during the on times as set according to the controls fitted.
Hot water
will always tak
e prior
ity over the centr
al heating whenever a hot tap is opened.

OPERATING THE
BOILER
1
INTRODUCTION
Switch the boiler on at the mains supply socket s
witch. The boiler will be in either 'Standb
y' or 'On' mode.
By pressing the Mode button (item 1 in Fig.
1) the Standby or On mode can be selected, or press and hold the Mode b
utton
for eight seconds to tur
n the boiler off.
Standby -
In this mode the boiler will not provide hot w
ater or central heating, b
ut frost protection and pump circulation
features are still activ
e.
Off -
In this mode there is electrical po
wer to the boiler b
ut the boiler will not function in any condition.
On -
In this mode the boiler can be switched betw
een 'Summer' or 'Winter' settings by pressing the Mode b
utton (item 1 in Fig. 1).
Summer setting -
The boiler will only pro
vide hot water when a tap is tur
ned on and the central heating will not activ
ate even
if requested by e
xternal controls (frost protection and pump cycle are still activ
e).
Winter setting -
The boiler will oper
ate in both heating and hot water
. The heating will activ
ate depending on the time and
temperature from an
y heating controls fitted. Hot w
ater will always tak
e prior
ity over heating when a hot outlet tap is opened.
The boiler can be used by children at least 8 y
ears old as well as b
y persons with reduced physical, sensor
y or
mental capabilities, lac
k of exper
ience or required knowledge pro
viding that they are under sur
veillance
, or after
they ha
ve been instr
ucted relating to the safe use and ha
ve understood the potential dangers

play with the appliance

The boiler controls are located on the control panel.Make sure the heating system is filled and the needle on the pressure
gauge (item 8 in Fig. 1) is in the g
reen band when cold. If incorrect ref
