Ba ery Electrolyte is a poisonous and dangerous solu on that can cause severe burns, etc. Ba ery Electrolyte
contains sulfuric acid. Avoid contact with skin, eyes & clothing. Always shield eyes when working near ba eries.

BATTERIES:
New ba eries should be given a full charge before use.
New deep cycle ba eries need to be cycled several mes before reaching full capacity (50
‐
125 cycles,
depending on type). Capacity will be limited during this period. *XC2 formula on can reach full capacity in as
few as 25 cycles.
Batt
ery cables should be intact, and the connectors kept ght at all mes. Always use insulated tools to
avoid shor ng ba ery terminals. Regular inspec on is recommended.
Vent caps should be correctly installed and ght during vehicle opera on and ba ery charging.
Ba eries should be kept clean and free of dirt and corrosion at all mes. Ba eries should always be watered
a er charging unless the plates are exposed prior to charging. If exposed the plates should be covered by
approximately 1/8” of electrolyte (add dis lled water only). Check electrolyte level a er charge. The
electrolyte level should be kept 1/4” below
the bottom of the fill well in the cell cover.
