Disposal of the product
The UPS contains materials which (in case of decommissioning / disposal) are considered TOXIC and
DANGEROUS WASTE, for example circuit boards and batteries. Treat such material according to the current
legislation by using licensed disposal centres. Their correct disposal helps to protect the environment and human
health. If the various components are to be stored, pending admission to landfills, take care to keep them in a safe
place and protected from atmospheric agents, to avoid contamination of the ground and ground water (especially
with lead and the electrolyte of the batteries).
