Tag
‐
based
Group
Function
Description:
Shows
information
of
the
existing
tag
‐
based
VLAN
groups,
the
administrator
can
also
Add,
Delete
and
Edit
VLAN’s
using
the
function
buttons
provided.
Parameter
Description:
VLAN
Name:
Is
the
name
of
the
VLAN
group
defined
by
the
Administrator.
Valid
characters
that
can
be
used
are
A
–
Z,
a
–
z
and
0
–
9.
Special
characters
are
not
allowed
and
a
total
of
15
characters
are
supported.
VID:
VID
is
the
VLAN
Identifier.
Each
tag
‐
based
VLAN
group
must
have
a
unique
VID.
Port
Members:
Displays
the
currents
ports
configured
for
each
VLAN.
IGMP
Proxy:
IGMP
proxy
enables
the
switch
to
issue
IGMP
host
messages
on
behalf
of
hosts
that
the
system
discovers
through
standard
IGMP
interfaces.
The
system
acts
as
a
proxy
for
its
hosts.
IGMP
can
be
enable
or
disabled
for
each
VLAN
group.
If
IGMP
proxy
is
disabled,
the
switch
will
stop
the
exchange
of
IGMP
messages
within
the
VLAN
group.
If
IGMP
proxy
is
enabled,
the
switch
will
support
the
exchange
of
IGMP
messages
within
the
VLAN
group.
