Getting started
Connect the IONSTAR to the compressed air supply.
The device is grounded is via the compressed air hose
• An electrically conductive compressed air hose must be used with the
IONSTAR
The ionization device is ready for operation

Scope of application
Point the ionizer at the part to be cleaned and press the operating lever.
• Distance 100 - 400 mm
• During operation, the green LED lights up
• When used as intended, the IONSTAR device also complies with the
technical regulation TRGS 727, version 8/2016, “avoidance of ignition
hazards due to static charges”
Helpful paint-spraying tips
Use your IONSTAR in the same way, with the same pressure and at
the same distance as you would use your spray gun.
Use a dust cloth; apply this BEFORE ionizing with your IONSTAR, NOT
at the same time.
Ionize thoroughly. Do not forget parts like door frames, flanges and
beads etc.
Coat immediately after ionizing.
For best results, ionize between the application of each layer.
Do not touch the vehicle after ionizing with your IONSTAR. If you do
however, it is ESSENTIAL to re-ionize thoroughly.
Allow yourself time to complete the described process, this way you
can ensure achieving optimum results.
