Cleaning
instructions
Carry
out
all
cleaning
operations
(on
lenses,
filter
or
protection
glass,
and
sensor)
in
a
clean
dust
‐
free
room
.
The
optical
components
are
very
fragile,
therefore
you
must
not
touch
them
with
your
fingers
or
any
hard
material.
1. Unplug
the
camera
from
any
power
supply
before
cleaning.

Use
proper
cleaning
materials
when
cleaning
glass
surfaces.
•
Never
wipe
lenses
with
dry
swabs
or
tissue
‐
this
may
cause
scratches.
•
As
a
cleaning
tool,
use
only
lens
cleaning
tabs
or
a
lens
cleaning
tissue
wrapped
around
a
small
piece
of
plastic.
The
lens
cleaning
tissue
must
be
chemically
pure
and
free
from
silicones
and
other
additives.
•
Do
not
use
metal
tools.
•
Do
not
use
any
disposable
cotton
cosmetic
swabs;
they
may
contain
contami
‐
nants.
•
Do
not
use
cosmetic
cotton.
•
Do
not
use
consumer
eyeglass
cleaning
cloths
pretreated
with
silicone.
•
Do
not
use
fibrous
material
that
may
get
caught
in
small
gaps.
•
As
cleaning
liquid,
use
only
optics
cleaner
(60%
ethyl
alcohol,
40%
ether)
or
isopropyl
alcohol.
Never
use
aggressive
cleaners
like
benzine
or
spirits.
Using
cleaners
like
that
may
damage
the
surface.
